Summer Vacation in MT and WY!

We just got back Sunday night from a vacation to see my family in Montana and Tom's family in Wyoming. We always have so much fun it's really hard to leave! One of our main reasons for going was to celebrate my dad retiring! We started off having all of the grand kids ride the city bus with my dad on his very last day of work. He has taken the bus to work for over 20 years! Then we had ribs for dinner and Razzleberry Pie and ice cream. Best of all, we had somewhat of a "roast"about my dad. I wish I could post all of the jokes and gifts but there are just too many. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time....it hurt my cheeks!
Other things we did in Montana: Went on a picnic and hike in the mountains, went to Geyser Park (place with go-carts, bumper boats, arcade, etc), ate Pizza and went to the candy store in Red Lodge, ice cream at Softies, went to a movie, & ate lots of good food! A posted a few highlights, but you can see more of our Montana photos HERE.

A few things we did in Wyoming: Jordyn and Evan both rode the 4wheeler and loved it, Carter and Jordyn rode a horse (Evan happened to be napping!), lots of fishing, had a fun rodeo for the kids, went to the county fair and watched Pa (Tom's dad) team rope in the rodeo and the kids looked at a few animals too, had an awesome steak dinner and cake to celebrate Ninny's (Tom's mom) birthday, Misti (my sister in law) and I ran a 10k race, went to a parade, & ate tons of good food! I posted a few highlights below.... see more of our Wyoming photos HERE.

I can't believe your dad is retired now! I still remember him walking to the bus every morning and waiting in front of the Moore's.
