Question of the week is reborn!

The Andersen family used to have a question of the week (e-mailed by my Aunt Carolyn) and I liked it alot. So, I decided to have my own "question of the week" on my blog. Here is my first question for everyone:

What is the strangest thing you have ever eaten?

Stuffed bell peppers. Now that is a very strange meal! Yuck!

When I went to Hawaii, I ate sashimi (raw fish) and poi (poy) which is a Polynesian staple food. Poi is cooked and mashed taro root, but it pretty much tastes like paste. Both items were not good!

First of all, Susan, can I have your sashimi? It's too good to waste. The strangest thing I've ever eaten is (ranchers, close your ears) raw horse meat. It is a delicacy in an area in Japan where I lived on my mission. Stir fried crickets were interesting too.

Strangest thing I ever ate was cantaloupe in the Philippines. That alone is not strange, but as we ate it a rat wandered around on the counter where the woman had just prepared the cantaloupe. We assumed he had perhaps been there before!

Hey, stuffed green peppers are yummy.

I had smoked reindeer meat when I went to Finland. It was good.

Grandma Mattson (my father's mother)
loved all parts of fish, but mostly the head!

Everyone may gross out about this one but it's normal where I'm from so it's not wierd to me, but Rocky Mountain Oysters, and they're extremly good, better than raw fish! I've had poi also, it is good if prepared right, it's almost like potatoes.
